Caietul bunicii - Reteta Baclava I, II 001

Baklava 1

1/2 kg puff paste

1/4 walnuts: half quantity fine grind and half medium grind

1 spoon of bread crumbs

1/4 l of sunflower oil

1/2 kg of sugar + 2 glasses of water and vanilla for the syrup

Grease each puff paste sheet with oil and sprinkle it with the finely grounded walnuts. Place the sheets one on the top of the other in the oiled baking tray. Before putting them in the oven, cut them in rectangular pieces and pour more oil n the cuts and on the corners of the tray. bake until slightly brownish. Take the tray out of the oven and add the sugar and vanilla syrup. Sprinkle the medium grounded walnuts on top before serving.
